Tears mixed with fresh and dried blood.
Slice.
Hands shook as the blade traced along pale flesh.
Slice.
Words muffled in unhearing ears.
Slice.
Pleading went unheard. Numbness washed away pain and frustration.

Dizziness caught up to consciousness. Blackness blurred around vision.
Slice.
The blade dropped into the sink, splattering against the crimson staining the ivory. Legs wobbled, vision faded. Numbness was all that was left.
‘Uryuu… What have you done…?’
Sad, sapphire eyes met deep navy as the door opened. A recognized face as a final memory before a shattered world turned black.

AN: I want to give credit to the lyrics at the beginning. I got it from the "Queen of the Damned" soundtrack, which is ironically what I named the fiction. The song is performed by Static-X. If I remember correctly, it was Jonathan Davis from Korn who wrote the lyrics.
