(6) Love the idea of a predatory Izuru, Renji won't stand a chance and he'll have no idea what hit him ;) It's nice to see the progression of Izuru's change he's really starting to remind me of the Kira from the academy days which can only be a good thing :)
Funny that you should use the phrase 'calm before the storm' because the whole time I was reading the chapter I kept thinking how everything's so sweet and perfect and going so well that I couldn't help but wonder what was going to happen to ruin that calm. Can't wait for the next chapter, I think it's going to get very interesting ^_^

I'm so happy Renji and 'zuru were able to spend a little fluffy moment together. I'm looking forward to Ichimaru's appearance next time. ^__^

(5) I don't even think I could begin to tell you everything I loved about the interaction between Gin and Renji but the way Gin was trying to guide Renji and Kira together and how Renji reacted to him, it was just too good :) Also I like your Kira, he may be hurt and maybe a little lost (who could blame him) but you can see that he still has his strength and confidence he just needs someone to help remind him of his old self. And Renji seems perfect for that job and despite the violence and yelling it seems that the two of them have actually started to make some progress :) Great chapter I really loved it, can't wait for the next one ^_^
