Consolation Prize (of Victory)

A Note to the PoV Readership

Or

Four Things You Should Know About This Story

Greetings and Happy Freaking New Year to the lot of you.

The first thing you should know is that this story is the promised ‘filler’ arc in NovaAlexandria’s ‘Prize of Victory’ two-part opus. It’s meant to span the five years that pass after the events of Part 1 and before the events of Part 2 and focuses on Abarai Renji and Nelliel Tu Odelschwanck. While I am the author of each Interlude and Interval (otherwise known as ‘Chapters’), NovaAlexandria has given her approval for the contents of this story, to make sure what’s being written is consistent with the details of her particular Bleach-verse.

The second thing you should know is that this story contains sex and lots of it. There are references to non-consensual events that took place in PoV, Part 1, but for the most part, all of the ‘action’ in this story is consensual and aside from some scant hints at a semi-willing M/M relationship that never had a chance to really happen, it’s het. Consider yourself forewarned.

The third thing you should know is that it furthers the development of a few of the characters in the PoV Bleach-verse. While you’ll be able to slide right into PoV 2 once the author decides she has enough ready to post, without having to read this, it will help fill in a few blanks later on.

The fourth, and last thing, you should know is that feedback is appreciated, as long as the tone remains civil. As an addendum, I do not own Bleach, the anime or the manga, its characters, the franchise, its licensing rights or anything else belonging to Tite Kubo. I also don’t own any of the OC’s created by NovaAlexandria. She’s graciously allowed me to feature them as needed. Nor do I make any money off of this venture. If I did, things would be a bit plusher around here and my wine collection would have more burgundies of French origin.

Enjoy.
