Orihime POV:



She was restless heading up to the battle. She couldn't wait and when the worse could have happen she felt a powerful reitsu disappear. It felt really familiar so she knew it was Ichigo. When the arrived Ishida landed terribly sending him and her flying. But she landed on her feet clumsily, she ran not knowing where she was going but she ran and through the dust and demise she sensed him, Ulquiorra. She looked up to see him changed, he was different and she could feel it in the air. His tail was holding Ichigo up and all she saw was his hand move to his chest slowly.



"NO! DONT!" She screamed as loud as she could but was blinded by a bright and blinding emerald light. Her eyes widened when the light disappeared Ichigo was there still being held up but this time...there was a hole 3 times bigger than Ulquiorra own hole, in the same spot. She screamed with all her might "NO!!!!!" She watched as his body fell to the ground at a plight. She ran and sent her rejection shield his way to catch him softly. She ran as fast as she could. ' This is my fault...this is my fault...why didn't you stay...why did you come?!W-why Kurosaki-kun!Why!' She thought running as fast as she could. When he was there at an even faster speed then before, she stepped back.



"Why are you even trying? His fate is sealed and there is nothing you can do." He spoke glaring down at her with his new eyes.



Words wouldn't come from her mouth, she couldn't reason with him, she couldn't say anything. Ishida jumped in on the battle and fired and arrow. She quickly ran around Ulquiorra leaving him to fight. She tried to heal him for what felt like days and years when it had only been minutes. ' What should I do? What should I do now, Kurosaki-kun. I am useless now...w-what shou-' her thoughts were interrupted when Ishida slid back to her.



"Ishida" She spoke in a worried voice.



"Keep focus on Kurosaki."he spoke more and more but Orihime heard nothing but silence, Ulquiorra slapped Ishida's next attack like it was a fly.



She began to cry ' what should I do...Kurosaki-kun? Kurosaki-kun,Kurosaki-kun....Kurosaki-kun?' She thought finally screaming with all of her might.



"SAVE US KUROSAKI-KUN!" Her voice echoed through the lands as she sat facing away from his body.



-Ulquiorra POV-



​Ichigo was surprised to see him transform and Ulquiorra was just as surprised to have seen the human fight as well as he did. But it was hopeless, Ulquiorra knew he would win. All he wanted to do was rid this world of the Man, Ichigo Kurosaki. When finally he weakened him to a limp body in his second formation. He could sense her entering his battlefield and thought to himself ' she came?' He turned and said the words out loud.



"Watch as the man you put so much hope into is killed." He spoke his winter words using a powerful cero on him. Making the same hole he had into his enemy. Ichigo died instantly and was tossed to the side. He heard her cries of plea,but he ignored them.



He watched as she began to run to him in despair and stood in front of her, for what ever reason. He did not want her to see his body. " "Why are you even trying? His fate is sealed and there is nothing you can do." He spoke looking down at her, seeing her eyes full of lost hope and sadness. She had the same look as when he left her with Aizen. He was speechless and so was she. He didn't notice the enemy try to attack him but it was a null cause for the humans. Ulquiorra batted the arrow away with his wing.



'she ran to him...still...' He thought feeling a new sensation boil inside of him



The battle went fast with Ishida and was just about concluded when he heard ""SAVE US KUROSAKI-KUN!""



-normal: back to present-



A rush of wind was felt swirling her hair around her like ​leaves in the fall. She turned back slowly feeling the most pressure she has felt. Her eyes widened to see Ichigo...not Ichigo. Her eyes shuddered and her heart stopped only for an instance, It was a huge hollow mask coming from the man she once said she loved. It made a animal like growl as it looked down at her.



Ulquiorra's eyes looked over to him in annoyance " Impossible. How did you take that form? Who are you?" The monster flicked his wrist and called the sword to him and caught it easily. He threw it down making the ground beneath him crumble in an earthquake of power sending Orihime flying. Ishida jumped in front of her catching.



"I asked who are?"



The beast roared a fierce cry of anger and didn't even make Ulquiorra shift like the humans did " I see you can't understand me." He spoke charging a cero. Ichigo did the same between his horns. The two fought a one sided battle, Ulquiorra was overpowered and sent to the ground with only one horn. Orihime watched in horror 'N-no...' she closed her eyes watching the final attack being charged up by the monster-Ichigo.



"No mercy,just like a hollow. Go ahead and kill me there is no point of living now that you have defeated me." He said looking into the cero.



Orihime winced feeling Ulquiorra's powerful pressure disappear slowly. ' I...I cared about you...my heart pounded for you...you were my support...my friend...and now you too have been killed by another friend. The hate never stops...I am sorry Ulquiorra...I am sorry Ichigo...I couldn't' She paused in her thought for a split second putting up a shield. ' stop both of you.' she watched as Ichigo through him aside towards the two.



She looked over to Ulquiorra horrified at the site, even though she was a human and technically supposed to be happy...she didn't. She felt a sudden lost that she couldn't explain the feeling of. Ichigo approached him once more sword in hand. Orihime's eyes widened and she cried out a gasp when he brought his sword to his throat. ' Ichigo! Don't touch him like that!You have won, stop!!!' she cried out in her thoughts.



Ishida moved quickly over to him stopping his hand " That is enough, Ichigo. You have won." Ichigo's body kept moving his arm to the throat, but ishida didn't stop " He may have been an enemy.But there is no reason in carving up his body."He didn't stop"Can you hear me? I said the battle is over!" Ichigo moved his sword closer, inching towards the throat " If you go any further you will no longer be human!"He moved once more " DON'T ICHIGO!" He yelled.



The monster growled stabbing his sword into and through Ishida sending him flying. " ISHIDA!" Orihime cried out.



Ichigo's beast turned to Orihime " save you, save you" He growled in a distorted voice. " Will Save you,Will save you...I WILL Save you." He spoke clearly finally.



Orihime's eyes widened "This is all my fault. Kurosaki-kun is trying to save me.Because I called out to him...why?I didn't get in his way so I trained myself. I wanted to protect him so I came here alone and on my own.So...w-why?! Why do I always end up relying on him in the end.' She cried thinking of it watching him approach Ishida.



She cried out "Don't Kurosaki-kun!KUROSAKI-KUN!"She shouted.



Ulquiorra opened his eyes feeling his body regenerating, he heard her cry out. That is what made him open his eyes, Ulquiorra sat up in pain and stumbled to his feet unnoticed. He looked at her shaking in fear. She feared him, but was crying out to him. ' She fears him...but didn't ever once fear me.Why is my body trembling, why do I have this inside of me. This pain again, this...breaking pain.' He thought and saw him approaching his ally. In a sonido Ulquiorra leapt over to the charging cero that started between Ichigo's mask and sliced off the left horn making Ichigo lose balance and shoot the Cero into a storm above.



Ulquiorra landed and felt the strength and power disappear from behind him. ​Orihime watched as the helmet broke away and crumbled to the ground to show himself, but white. Orihime ran over to him and sat next to him. Ulquiorra looked back at her, his eyes shifted to the ground " My arm,leg and body are trying to regenerate. But its superficial. The organs he has destroyed will not come back." Ulquiorra spoke low and was just as surprised when the hole closed in Ichigo. " High speed regeneration?"



Ichigo sat up quickly, sweating as if he had a nightmare. " Inoue." He looked over to see she was a bit frightened."Are you okay?" He asked in a worried tone.



"Yeah."



He then looked over to see his sword in Ishida." I-ishida."



"You finally snapped out of it."



"..." Ichigo was horrified to see Ulquiorra's state.



Ulquiorra used sonido to get over to Ishida and pull the sword out. He tossed the sword in front of Ichigo.



"Was I the one who stabbed Ishida?"



"It doesn't matter" Ulquiorra spoke.



"and the one who took of your arm and leg."Ichigo asked, the two looked at one another. "Then take off mine as well."



"Kurosaki-kun?!"



Ulquiorra let go of his weapon letting it disappear and his eyes widened.



"I was unconscious when I fought with you in that hollow form.That wasn't me. It wouldn't be a fair fight unless i'm in the same state as you!" Ichigo yelled.



"Stop it Ichigo!" Ishida shouted. " Do you realize what you are asking, Ichigo?"



Ulquiorra's eyes closed only for a moment and he opened them again and readied himself. "Very well if that is your wish." He leaned forward spreading his wings when in an instance they began to turn into dust. Orihime's eyes widened as he began to disappear.



"I am already that far gone." He looked up at Ichigo " Kill me or you will not finish the fight."



"No."



"What was that?" Ulquiorra spoke.



"No, I DON'T WANT TO WIN LIKE THIS!"



Orihime watched as Ulquiorra began to slowly fade away ' No, please, no...I don't want you to go. Please stay.' she thought watching him go, she looked down at her hands and gripped her outfit. ' I wore there uniform. I helped them. I am one of them...I must try to heal him...I must.' she looked up to him.



Ichigo was tearful at what he had done, he was ashamed and would not comply with Ulquiorra's wish. Orihime rose to her feet ' I have to, I have to help him.' his eyes changed to there normal state and he turned to her. She stopped in her tracks looking at him. " Do you fear me, now?" He asked calmly looking into her eyes.



Her eyes filled with tears " I am not afraid of you, I am not afraid of you." She spoke confidently looking into his eyes.



His eyes widened and he reached for her, he couldn't explain these things he had felt for the past weeks. These troubling sensations, but they were feelings. He hadn't recognized them because no one had shown them back to him. But she did, she never waivered. Even when he was slaughtering her friends, she never once tried to kill him, or attack him. He felt pain when she was sad, he felt anger when someone tried to hurt her...even Aizen. He wanted her to like him back and thought that forcing her into submission was the way to do it, but there was no force needed...she gave herself to him no questions asked. He couldn't stop himself because her heart was all he wanted.He reached for her slowly trying to get a hold of her touch once more, his sun.He watched as she reached for him 'I see. Now I see, her heart was right in my hand this whole time.' he thought. He watched her hand grasp for his but he couldn't hold it up no longer and fell back a bit when it started to disappear slowly. He was satisfied, for the first time he recognized the feeling of happiness.



"NO!"



He looked over feeling his body slowly going away as well.



Ichigo and Ishida looked up at her in confusion. "Orihime?"



"N-no!I can't just stand here and let you just go away! You helped me, you didn't let me go.I understood you...I-I....I" She began to tremble with tears going down her face.



Ichigo's eyes widened as she began to walk forth to him. "Orihime! NO!"



She stepped forth to him feeling the dust she walked through. She began to use her power. Ulquiorra's eyes shifted to her movements.



Ichigo sprinted to her and grabbed her back " NO! Orihime, he is an enemy. I may not have wanted to kill him but if we bring him back we might all be kill-



She turned to him " HE IS THE REASON I WAS KEPT UNHARMED!" She screamed at him.



"But he was also the reason you were here!" Ichigo spoke.



Her lips trembled and she brought her hands up to Ulquiorra seeing only his face. Ulquiorra had a tear falling slowly down the marks on his face. Her powers were of no use, because she wasn't focusing. She let out a horrific scream and began to wail " I am sorry! I am sorry!" She looked up to him." Say something...anything...please..." She plead.



He closed his eyes and opened them once more. He looked into her eyes and arched his eyebrows a bit and looked into her eyes as his face began to disappear faster. The ash fell to the ground, in the rest of the pile. Some of it blew away and she began to wail louder again.



Ishida eyes widened at her crying, she was knelt over crying so hard as if it were her own comrade that died, as if it were Ichigo all over again. Ichigo peered down at her with sullen eyes as she pounded the ground. "He never once gave me the easy answer, he never once doubted me or thought that I couldn't take it." She mumbled crying still.



Ichigo knelt down to her ' was this this Stockholm syndrome?' He leaned in trying to get her mind off of her emotions and she put a shield around her. He fell back looking at her.She stood up and cleared her eyes and turned to him.



"I can bring him back." She spoke.

Author note: And so we have it.I am so pathetic. I even cried typing it, I cried reading it 30 minutes ago. I cried watching it 15 minutes ago and now I cried finishing it. GAH! I am so pathetic -facepalm- Next chapter you all will like a lot...not to sound cocky but the inner Grimmjow is coming out of me. This song always has reminded me of the last moments of Ulquiorra tell me what you think? red- pieces.
