Ulquiorra entered Los Noches bringing Orihime in his arms.



"Orihime we need to make a stop before we join the others."



"Where are we going?"



"Grimmjow's mask."



"G-grimmjow? But he d-



"So did I.I think he would make a good asset to your defenses."



"Will he actually not...you know go crazy?" She asked.



"I don't believe so,especially if you bring him back from the dead." Ulquiorra spoke in a cold tone.



"I thought you didn't like him?" She chuckled.



"Lets just say he always was my support when I was down for a couple hours."



Orihime looked away remembering his gently touch the night she was raped. She smiled and nodded at him.When the two finished picking up the remains of his mask and clothing up they both headed towards the group of survivors.Rukia's eyes widened when the two approached.She took her sword in hand weakly. Ulquiorra set Orihime down and looked to Rukia. Rukia trembled while looking at him.



"I am not going to attack." He spoke coldly.



Byakuya turned to Ulquiorra and raised his sword as well " What are you doing, Espada?"



Ulquiorra looked into his eyes and spoke " Ex-espada." He pointed.



"Ex?"



"I no longer am connected to Aizen." He explained.



Mayuri's eyes widened in astonishment and he waltzed over to him. He lifted his arms and looked at them in surprise. "This is the one Ishida?!"



"That is him." He nodded.



"Interesting." He said letting his arm go and rubbing his chin.



"Please understand. He...was kind of...forced into helping Aizen." She looked away nervously.



"I don't need explanation. It was just shocking Orihime." Rukia explained.



Renji nodded "If you think this guy is ok, I guess we will have to trust you. You know him better than we do."



"I am not asking to become a Shinigami." Ulquiorra spoke coldly.



"You couldn't become one even if you wanted" Byakuya said a matter of fact.



"You couldn't level with the lowest ranked espa-



"NONONONO! Stop!" Orihime shushed him.



Ulquiorra looked at her puzzled. She had never stopped his words before. He shook her hand free and looked away. " Do you guys want out of here?"



Mayuri began to laugh hysterically " I have been working on that for hours You c-" he spoke and was interrupted.



Ulquiorra drew a line in front of him, a bright light came from the line he drew. He shook his hand out and brought it to his pocket. He began to walk forward to see the light part to a tunnel. Orihime clapped and gestured for the rest to follow.Mayuri scoffed as he did the action, Ulquiorra lead the way in silence.This tunnel was different through the worlds.Everyone looked around in astonishment as the tunnel was going through a somewhat spacey exhibit. No one spoke,they were all wary of were the 4th was leading them. He then stopped and put his index finger up and a emerald light came from it. He turned around to see everyone looking at him with fear,except her.



"Its going to get dark." He spoke as the door closed. The groups turned to look back at the closed opening they just came through. " Everyone is here?"



"Everyone that was back there." A voice confirmed.



He continued for a long while and then finally stopped. He drew another line and another opening came forth. He let his fingers rest and walked through the opening. When they entered Orihime's and Ishida's eyes widened. It looked to be Karakura town. "U-ulquiorra...is this...soul society or-



"This is not the real one. This is the one in soul society." He paused. " I do not sense any spiritual pressure from Aizen or Ichigo. It is safe to enter here." He nodded.



Unohana approached the group and looked warily at the Ulquiorra. "Orihime. I could use your help."She sounded rushed."Hanatorou as well." She nodded. The two nodded and started off. Orihime stopped and turned back, she was about to speak when Rukia did.



"Go Orihime, he is safe as long as he is not a threat."



Orihime looked at him and closed her eyes and left. Ulquiorra turned to the group,he didn't understand feelings like an expert, but to anyone who did know feelings. This is what we would be called Awkward. His eyes shifted to the battered group and watched as they slowly began to rest. Except for three, Byakuya,Renji and Kenpachi.



Byakuya turned to Renji " I know you are tired."



"C-captain."



"You may rest." He stated



Without any hesitation Renji fell to the ground. Ulquiorra's looked over the group, his eyes closed and he spoke. " I sense many of you are dying on the field."



Byakuya opened his eyes and barked at the pale voice " Do not mock us! They fought to-



"I am going to gather them to make it easier for your medical officers." Ulquiorra interuppted.



Byakuya's eyes widened in surprise as the man began to walk away from the group. Byakuya looked away and was about to say something when a bright emerald light was seen ahead. Black wings were seen stretching. He did one huge flap and was off. One by one he moved people if they were movable. If they were not he took note of where they were. When setting the people near the original starting location of his flight he separated them into who would be ok for a while and who needed help immediately. This was easy for him to do,seeing as though he didn't know any of the people...and that he was Ulquiorra. Some of the Shinigami tried to fight him but all he did was knock them out and make sure they were not in shock.



He landed in front of Unohana who was rushing to another person, her eyes widened as she felt his pressure, which he was trying to dim down." I have been taking all the people to where you first saw me and the group." He stated shifting his eyes to her.



Unohana nodded "I will send a team over immediately." She nodded​



She hurried around him with her supplies in hand and knelt by a crying shinigami. He took flight again and used a sonido to another speck of life. It was Rangiku holding Gin in her lap, she was crying. She swiped his hair from his eyes and tried speaking to him. He landed behind her " He is gone." He spoke coldly.



Her eyes opened and her tears stopped as she saw the shadow in front of her lower its wings like a giant dragon. She looked back " Oh...my god.."She trembled in fear.



"I am not here to harm you. I am taking you to safety." He spoke as sincere as he could, trying to mimic Orihime as best he could. She lowered her eyes back to the corpse. " He is gone."



"I KNOW!" She yelled. "I-I just don't want to leave him here."She said quietly.





"He betrayed you and yet you still care for him?"



She opened her eyes and turned to him in surprise. "He was there for me when I was younger...more than anyone was." She said.



Ulquiorra closed his eyes. He could of told her of how terrible of a person he was, for hurting him and putting Orihime's life in danger for giving Aizen the idea of hurting her to begin with. But instead something was tugging on him against the idea. He opened his eyes " My eye remembers everything. I will keep note of where he is and will come back for him myself for the body count." Ulquiorra spoke in a tone that was bland and matter of fact but it still rang with a hint of sincerity.



She leaned forward and kissed his forehead " You are the biggest jerk ever, but...in the end you helped us...for that I thank you." She spoke standing up. She turned to Ulquiorra and took one step and fell over losing balance. He was there catching her, he lifted her in his arms and began to open his wings. "Have you found my captain yet?"



"I don't know."



"Short kid, white hair?"



"I have not reached him yet."



She nodded and fell against his body "Your touch is as cold as his." She stated passing out.



He didn't know if that was a good thing but hurried to get her to the others. She was definitely triage. After a long and grueling 3 hours search he finally got most of the ones that were not healed yet. The other were all dead. He landed to his feet and knelt to the ground in exhaustion. He began to transform back to his normal state, his eyes changed back and his body began to go back to normal. It was the longest he had ever stayed in his 2nd form. He looked up to see Orihime healing Byakuya's wounds and Unohana healing the other medical squad members first to help them out. Izuru walked over to Ulquiorra and Ulquiorra shook his head " Go to the others." He spoke.



It took at least another hour before all the basic healing was done, there were some that needed some serious treatments such as organ regeneration in such, or to be put on watch for a while. Ikkaku sat up and looked to Rangiku " Why is he helping us?" He asked shocked looking over to the tired Ex-enemy. Urahara batted the man on his head.



"Say! You trying to put me under again!?" Ikkaku yelled.



"He helped us out a great deal right now, he didn't have to do that." Urahara assured. Orihime paused what she was doing and looked back to him and smiled and then went back to her focus.



Urahara pushed himself up to his feet and walked over to the 4th and knelt down. Ulquiorra's eyes opened and he looked at the man warily. "yes?" He asked.



"So tell me,what is your stand point after this?" Urahara asked in almost a whisper.



"I haven't really thought about this to much." Ulquiorra stated.



"Well at least your honest."



"I don't lie."



Urahara raised an eyebrow. "What will you do when the commander awakens and asks about you?"



"I don't really care."



Urahara laughed and closed his eyes "I think I would like to work with you."



"Work with me?" Ulquiorra asked.



"I am going to try to make it so you blend more with us?" He said grinning. Yoruichi walked over to Urahara and punched him in the head.



"Why must you always be a big weirdo!Do you understand that this guy might not even want to stay with you!" She yelled



"I just tho-



"He could help clean?!"



Ulquiorra's hearing was blurred and the sudden rush of power was drained from him, he fell over to his side. Yoruichi's eyes widened, "What happen?!" She asked shocked.



Orihime turned her around to see Ulquiorra clutching his stomach. Her eyes widened and she started over to him when Izaru beat her there. She stopped and looked at him for an answer. He looked back "He is ok, his pulse is racing through his body and his hands are clammy."



Unohana moved over to the body of Ulquiorra and knelt down to him, " His insides are torn up pretty bad, it looks as though he can regenerate himself to an extent except for those. We will need to get him to the 4th quarters when we can.I will stabilize him for now."



The conscious members looked her way and finally Toshiro spoke " Did that happen when he was helping us?"



Orihime answered " No." Toshiro's eyes shifted to her. She continued " I thought he was healed,but I do not have any techniques of seeing inside the body. He was moving fine."She paused and continued " Ulquiorra doesn't really understand emotions, at all. He was told from the beginning he had none and that is why he was an asset to Aizen. Aizen used him and I am guessing almost brainwashed him into thinking he was emotionless."



Rangiku looked away from her and growled. " How awful."



"He was...used by them and I guess..."She paused " I showed him how to...understand emotions." she began to blush.



Unohana rose to her feet and nodded " Excuse me Orihime, I have an announcement to make." Everyone listened as best as they could "I have done all I can do for you. Until we move you, I will be moving the people who need it most first. Then from there we will begin moving the others. For now we wait until...the end." She said closing her eyes.



Orihime looked back " The end?"



"Of the battle between Aizen and Ichigo. We will know when it is over." She nodded.Orihime looked at the ground, she was thinking of him. Her heart was out to him, she had faith in him. " Please continue Orihime." Unohana directed.



"Oh yes!Thank you, Unohana" She bowed.



Rukia asked " Tell us how he decided?"



"He...decided?"



"To help us?" Rukia added.



Orihime began to tell them how he did come to the human world and did convince her to come with him to Heuco Mundo. She told them, how he protected her to the end. " Aizen said that I was no longer of use to him.But still Ulquiorra tried to protect me, I am guessing he felt Ichigo was a threat towards me because he sincerely believed that I was on his...team?" She almost questioned the term. " In the end...Ichigo...lost control and became..."She looked over to Ishida, to see him look away. "he went overboard in his hollow form and...Ulquiorra stopped him and in the end was killed. He faded to dust and I...went behind him and brought him back with my-



"You brought him back!?" Hisagi stumbled out.



"I-I did." She spoke " I did because I felt it was only right."



The group looked at one another in confusion. Byakuya began to approach her but Shinji put a sword in front of him " Look. He hasn't tried to kill us yet."



"So do wait until he does?" He asked.



A voice that was booming spoke " We wait until he is awake." The older voice spoke



Byakuya turned to the voice " Commander." He nodded falling back.



"Orihime. We will wait to see what he has to say, He has already proven that he isn't going to harm us right now." He spoke lifting his arm to uncover the bandages on him. " These were here when I woke up, Unohana told me that he had done this when he arrived to get me." He nodded "But he still is a threat until then. We will bind him." He spoke.



Orihime's eyes widened "Wait-



Urahara rose to his feet and walked over to body " Do not worry Orihime, I will do it so its only around his wrists." He nodded.



She closed her eyes and nodded at the decision made. It made sense,it really did.She just didn't want him to feel like a prisoner. She turned again to everyone and bowed "Thank you everyone for coming and saving me." she began to cry " I am so sorry for putting your lives in danger." She trembled.



Urayu closed his eyes and smiled at her, she sounded different now. A changed woman but she still sounded like...Orihime.

author note: This chapter really was crucial to the accaptance to the good guys. He has some how sparked interest with Orihime.He doesn't really understand emotions yet,but he is becoming more aware of them.This is why I began to use words like "felt,or feels and emotion' when it came to him.Before it was really hard to talk about the...things he was going through inside.



The next chapter will go into the success of winning!Aizen will be defeated by Ichigo in the next chapter,which I won't go into like "woah." But will briefly touch on it.
