Emerald Sun

Ichigo sat in class and stared out the window he waited for something anything eventful to happen. But nothing did, there was no one to come and get him ,there was nothing. Just...a normal slow life. Going from class to class was quiet, when he saw Ulquiorra he paused his movements and finally approached him " So..tell me, do you still hate me?" Ichigo smiled a very fake smile.





Ulquiorra closed his eyes "I wrote you this." He spoke low and handed him the written folded up note.





Ichigo looked at the letter and took it, Ulquiorra nodded and went to his class. Ichigo looked at the letter and sat up against the shoe locker and began to open it.It read:





Ichigo,

Ichigo smiled and crumbled the letter up and tossed it in the garbage. He hurried after Ulquiorra and slapped his shoulder " Don't apologize to me." Ichigo breathed heavy, that was his first bit of exercise since he woke up. Ulquiorra looked at him surprised at his words "Seriously, what the hell do you have to apologize for? We both were fighting for something we cared about." Ichigo pointed.



"I only said it because I almost killed you."



He was cut short " Well you beat me to that one. So how about we just call it even...deal?Besides, I don't want to screw things up with Inoue.Especially...since I went through all that for." He paused " I actually doubted her about you, I told her not to bring you back...and you have proven yourself so if anyone owes you..​-"



"You sure do talk a lot? I always thought of you being the silent type."Ulquiorra closed his eyes interuppting the Ex-shinigami.



Ichigo closed his eyes and smiled " Remember that eh?" He laughed and shook his head " Ok you get it." He laughed.



"Kurosaki-kun! Ulquiorra!" Orihime shouted from the other side of the hall.



Ulquiorra looked up at waved casually at her, Ichigo smiled at her happiness. Before it seemed like she was so sad, but now she is so happy. More happy than she ever was with just her normal friends. Maybe its because we saved her...but Ichigo knew the answer to why she was so happy. He smiled to himself and finally said low enough for just Ulquiorra to here it. " You better take care of her." He mumbled.



"I already have this far." He spoke coldly.



Grimmjow came from behind Ichigo and punched him in the arm hard " Idiot! You didn't even notice me at all?" Grimmjow spat.



"What the hell? Dammit that hurt!" He swung his arm at Grimmjow and Grimmjow leaned his head to the side,dodging it swiftly.Ichigo closed his eyes and brought his hand back " I need to go to class." He furrowed his eyebrows and turned away.He began to walk to class.



Orihime walked over and looked at Ichigo walking away, her eyes fell a little. "Its gonna take him a long time to get used to this." She sighed.



Grimmjow looked at her and growled " Damn strawberry." He turned heading after him.



Orihime looked at Ulquiorra " I am glad that he is trying."



Ulquiorra raised an eyebrow "I wonder." He looked at Grimmjow hurrying after him.



"Wonder what?"



"Its nothing. Come on lets get to our lunch."

Grimmjow walked quickly after his ex-enemy. He could hear people talking as he walked by " He is so cute.""Oh my gosh, I wonder if he has anyone going to the party?" "I bet you he would date me." Girls were feverish for him. He just rolled his eyes, he had been there a couple of weeks and already turned down a pack of girls. It amused him.



He finally caught up to him and pulled him back by the collar. "You gonna just run from everything you ass?"



"Let me go!" Ichigo yelled.



"Or what? You gonna cry?" Grimmjow laughed.



Ichigo looked away "..."



Grimmjow let him go and scoffed " Look just because you can't see fucking ghosts anymore doesn't mean anything."Ichigo's eyes widened and he looked at Grimmjow. Grimmjow continued " You can still be who you want and do what you need to do." He nodded.



Ichigo threw a punch so fast that it actually landed on Grimmjow jaw. He fell back and looked up and spat on the floor,Ichigo was already walking past him. He laughed "That's better." He swiped the blood from his lip. A group watched as he walked away as if he just stubbed his toe.



"Grimmjow! Are you al-



"Can it, I'm fine." He spat.



Ichigo walked away and looked at his hand, he had punched Grimmjow so hard that his knuckles were bleeding. He rubbed at them as he walked.' This is going to be a slow life.' he thought to himself.

Orihime pulled out the bento box she had packed for the two of them and began to open it when Ulquiorra leaned over to her and kissed her cheek. Orihime blushed " Ulquiorra..."She mumbled cheeks redder than any apple could ever get.



From across the lunch room you could see many looking over towards the couple. "She is such a slut."



"Look at her."



"First it was Ichigo"



"Now its him."



The only reason they all felt like that was because of the way Ulquiorra turned them away.

" I am so much better for you then that girl."



Ulquiorra became a stone cold espada again " Your fate is looking grim, if you keep talking like that." He closed his eyes speaking like ice.



"Your such a jerk!"

Or another case went like this.

"Ulquiorra? Come on, we could go to my house later and I could show you what skills I have"



"Probably none."



"Let me show you." Her hand went to touch his and he swiftly grabbed her wrist and crushed it tightly.



She cried out in agony as she watched him move his fingers in a quick snap. She yelled out swearing. "You fell, or I will tell everyone you are nothing but trash."



Her eyes widened and she screamed " Get awa-



"Trash." He turned and left walking away.



"I am not lying! I am telling my father!"



Ulquiorra stopped " please do,so I can tell him what you planned on doing at his house tonight." He began to walk again.



Her lips trembled and she began to cry, some of her friends heard her and came around the corner. " What happen?!"



"I-I fell and I just heard it snap."



Ulquiorra closed his eyes.

He might have been trying to be more human to a sense, but he still was...Ulquiorra.



Orihime spoke " You are making everyone look over here." She blushed.



"So? Let them look."



"Ulquiorra..." He kissed her again.



He brought his fingers to a long strand of hair and pushed it behind her ear " Don't stop that." He whispered.



Tatsuki came walking across the lunchroom and chuckled under her breath " You two are like magnets." She smiled watching him pull away as she sat down. He really liked her presence around. She was a very good friend to Orihime and was very pleased to see how protective she was.



"Tatsuki, how is your day going?" Orihime smiled.



"Eh, its school." She nodded closing her eyes taking a bite of her apple. "Say Ulquiorra. I heard you made a great dinner for her last night?" She opened her eyes.



"Yes, I suppose I did." He said looking at her.



"You should seriously invite me next time." Orihime's best friend added.



"How about tomorrow night?" He asked.



Orihime looked to him in surprise " Really?!"



"Why not." He shrugged.



Tatsuki nodded " Cool, tomorrow then." She paused eating one more bite of the crunchy apple. " Say Ulquiorra." He looked up to her " Can I ask you something." She said leaning forward.



Ulquiorra spoke and Orihime looked at her confused " Sure."



"If you didn't like Aizen. Why didn't you just leave." She asked



"Aizen was a very strong," He thought of the word. " Leader." He closed his eyes.



"Leader eh?"



"He forced me into submission." He cleared it up.



The two's eyes widened, Tatsuki looked away and Orihime bit her lower lip. "Ulquiorra...I am sorry." Tatsuki said.



"Its the truth, no point in hiding it." He said.



The two finished there bento and Tatsuki talked to the two the whole time. About things Orihime missed when she was gone. How her Karate lessons were going and other things. She smiled " By the way, Ulquiorra. Nice job at snapping that girls wrist."



"She told you? Hm, I will have to take care of her."



"No,no. She didn't tell me. I just kind of know fighting techniques lets just say."



"That's right you are in," he paused " Karate?"



"Yup."



"Hm. Do you get along with Grimmjow?" Ulquiorra asked.



"Yeah he is a pretty cool guy.I kind of wonder why he doesn't look at any of the girls." She scratched her head.



Ulquiorra looked down and then looked back up at the clock in the lunch room. " I am going to head to my next class. See you tomorrow?" He nodded leaving Orihime with her best friend.



"That was weird." Tatsuki laughed.



Orihime didn't get the sudden ending of the conversation, but she just let him go to his next class. The two talked for a while and then went of too.

Ichigo was on his way home when a group approached him, " Well if it isn't our favorite fruit, that decided to attend school again? " They laughed grabbing at Ichigo.



He ducked closing his eyes at there attempts and kept walking. When one of them tripped him, ' I didn't even sense it what th...aw fuck I forgot again.' he thought catching himself a bit to soften the landing. One of the guys punched him into the cement hard making him hit his head hard on the concrete. Ichigo coughed up some blood and felt as the guy above lifted him up and tossed him over his shoulder.



"Its time you get humiliated just as you did me two months ago." He laughed taking him into the space between two buildings.



Ichigo's vision was blurred as he landed ​o​n something softer then the concrete he hit earlier. He didn't know where the hell he was but it smelled musty. His vision cleared when he saw three men walking his way sneering down at him. He couldn't smell anything but mostly blood from his bloody nose. He shook his head and tried to make his vision normal, but couldn't get it together. The leader of the group leaned over " You ready fruit? You probably will like this with your name." ​

Author note: So the next chapter is going to have yaoi. I think I would rather die then leave Grimmjow without someone...sooo you will see who he will be with. I am glad Bleachfan7: You liked there interaction. Hopefully you will continue to like it. I try to really keep what ever yaoi I write...to be realistic? I don't know if that makes sense but most fics with yaoi in it are very and then he fell in love with the man and its so ooc...so I hope I don't disappoint. Just give me honest comments everyone!
