Emerald Sun

Orihime woke up that weekend and was surprised to feel the babies movement. She looked to her stomach \'already!?\' She bit her lower lip and smiled then. It was a strange feeling, it felt like a flutter in her stomach. A much different feeling that she expected, the Auburn haired girl put her hand on her stomach and began to whisper. " Hey little guy...o-or girl. This is very new to me...so...don\'t think I am not excited. B-because I am! I really cannot wait to see you. You are going to be such a beautiful baby." She rubbed her stomach.



Ulquiorra rolled over yawning and found Orihime talking to her stomach softly. " You ok?"



"It moved...just a little." She stuttered.



"Did it?" He asked piquing his interest.



"Just a little." She confirmed looking back to her stomach.



"​How long does it take for a human to have a baby?"



Her eyes widened " Is it different with a hollow!?" She looked nervous for the answer.



"Well it take about four months."



"​F-four months..."​She breathed, she began to shudder a cry from her lips and began to just bawl her eyes out. Ulquiorra placed his fingers through her hair, he knew when humans were pregnant they got very emotional and sometimes there moods were changed rather then how they were. He expected this from the books he had read. He began to rub her back gently and calm her.



"Please do not cry my princess. It will be ok."



​She turned to him and fell into his arms and began to cry​ some more. " I won\'t look like a princess soon though." She whined.



"You will always look like a princess to me." He spoke leaning into her forehead and kissing it gently.



"I love you." She sniffled and sat up " I am turning into a big baby."



"Now I rented some movies for you today." He looked into her eyes.



"You did?"



"Yes I did. I also have something to surprise you with tonight." He spoke warmly.



"Y-you do?!" She blushed.



"I am going out for a while with Grimmjow and Ichigo. Be good?" He added.



"I-I will...thanks for the movies. I will go look at them in a little. I think I am going to nap some more is that ok?"



He chuckled and closed his eyes " You don\'t need to ask me for permission." He leaned and kissed her once more and went to the closet to dress himself. He put a sweater and some jeans. Easy enough, his jacket was black with dragon designs on the sleeves. He left the front unzipped and walked out, she was already asleep on the bed. He walked out of the house locking the door and was off to go meet the other guys.

Ichigo turned to the closed bathroom door Grimmjow was in " You ready yet? How long does it take to do your damn hair in there?!" He yelled when the door opened. Grimmjow was just smiling cocking his eyebrow. "I don\'t want to know." He said beginning to walk away.



"Don\'t worry I washed my hands."



"Well that\'s good." He rolled his eyes.



"Don\'t act like your so innocent, it needed to be relieved."



"Ok, I never said I was innocent. I just am saying really right now? We are already 5 minutes late!"



"Its not my fault he decided to get excited."



Ichigo didn\'t answer and just walked down the stairs and stopped mid-way. He turned and gave him a pleading look as he saw his sisters downstairs. Grim​mjow grinned and pushed him down the stairs. Karin looked up at the two and rolled her eyes " You guys are seriously weird."



"Good morning boys!" Yuzu grinned. " Grimmjow I made you this to go!" She laughed eagerly.



"Ah thanks cutie!" He leaned down ruffled her hair taking the rolled up pancake. He looked down to see her looking at him for a critique, he smiled and took a bite of the pancake " Ooh~Chocolate chip. Not bad kid." He smiled.



"YAY!" She turned and walked to the frying pan to continue to cook.



Ichigo watched the whole instance with a smile, Karin spoke " He is sweet." She spoke low.



"Yeah, wasn\'t always."



"Like you are so charming." She scoffed.



"You are sticking up for him!?"Ichigo growled.



"Come on fruit, lets go we are already late." He dragged him out the door.



"That is not my-"Ichigo stopped himself gritting his teeth. He could feel the smile coming from the espada dragging him along. When they were outside he turned to Grimmjow " You are sick."



"I didn\'t say anything."



Ichigo rolled his eyes and pushed Grimmjow\'s arm off of him. "What ever." He growled walking beside the man.



"So we have to take this train thing to the city?"



"Its a subway. But yeah something like that." Ichigo nodded.

Ulquiorra read the directions carefully and got on the correct subway and entered the city limits and arrived 5 minutes early. He walked to the bench and sat down near the station and waited for the couple. They didn\'t get there until about 20 minutes after the original time, but Ulquiorra already knew how Grimmjow was when it came to time. So​ he didn\'t lecture them, he didn\'t feel the need.



The three went to the nearby shopping center and Ichigo ​​lead the way ​to the jewelery store inside. Ulquiorra looked at all the rings but none of them were to his satisfaction. Ichigo smiled at how Ulquiorra wanted to look for more, but all Grimmjow wanted was the treats in the shops. There were tons of candy shops around and bakeries in the center. Ichigo finally knew where a good place would be to go.



"I know just the right place."



"​Oh?"



Ichigo took him to a small shop that was run by an older man. He spoke to the clerk and introduced his friend Ulquiorra. The two spoke for about 30 minutes and the two came to a conclusion of what they were looking for. Ulquiorra wanted a thin tension ring with yellow gold and white gold that wrapped around one emerald gem. He would have a white gold band with the written words " My Sun" In kanji on the inside. The older man said it would be easy to make the last one. The first would be a challenge for him. Emeralds were a pricey bit and he didn\'t know if Ulquiorra would be able to afford it. Ulquiorra put down a bag of money. The older man stumbled back and looked at him. Ulquiorra explained it was all he had and he would be able to get more if he needed it later. The older man looked at the bag and looked at him and sighed " I will make you, your rings. Only because it seems like you really​y ​have fallen in love. Which is rare nowadays." He smiled and spoke once more "I have a ring that I made with the tension like we spoke of so I will find your emerald and set it. Give me 3 hours."



The three went on there way and went back to find something to eat. Ulquiorra could feel the change in their relationship. He didn\'t mind Grimmjow being with men, he knew Grimmjow liked Ichigo from the start. It was obvious...at least to him it was. Grimmjow always took care of business no matter who was around and when his erection came along at odd times he took care of it....and normally Ulquiorra was there.



Ichigo looked over to Ulquiorra "You are serious about this."



"Of course I am. If this is what it takes to show that she holds my heart just as much as I have hers...then...I am." He looked up at him to see Ichigo looking at him with surprise.



It then hit Ichigo...that he had never seen someone so in love. He blushed and looked at his cell phone hearing it beep. He looked at it in a hurry like he had to or else lives would be in danger. He then sighed and realized it didn\'t tell him anything like a hollow was in the area...it just was a text. He flipped it open and read the text and replied and shut it. Grimmjow caught the look in his eyes, he looked at his watch " Oi, its time. Lets go get your silly rings."



They finally got the rings and went there seperate ways. Ichigo was quiet on the way home. He stared at his feet on the subway and finally Grimmjow leaned over and took his hand in his own. Ichigo didn\'t push the hand away, he let his hand sit in Grimmjows. It felt nice to be wanted still...even if it was considered wrong...but he didn\'t care. Grimmjow made the pain go away. When they were up in their room alone in the house Grimmjow asked him " Ichigo...did you like...me kissing you?"



"Why?"



"Because, that\'s why!" He asked.



Ichigo looked at ​him in shock."G-grimmjow..."



"Because if you are just using me...I don\'t care."



Ichigo watched as the espada clearly did care, his eyes were heavy lidded as he spoke and Ichigo sat on the bed to take off his socks. "I mean...I understand it.I mean you are going through a hard time...​so...its understandable...but...at the same time I-"



"Come here."Ichigo said grabbing Grimmjow by his wrist and pulling him on top of him. Grimmjow fell and caught himself​ inches from the ex-shinigami. Ichigo reached up with his hands and held the espada firmly kissing him. Grimmjow smiled into the kiss and returned it. He let his weight go a bit more and began to kiss Ichigo more feverishly.He gasped in pleasure and wrapped his fingers through Grimmjow\'s hair.



The Espada pulled away " I think you have made me a fruit."



"I like this fruit." Ichigo moaned moving his tongue into Grimmjow\'s mouth. Grimmjow swiftly took charge in the battle for dominance and won that battle. Ichigo gave in and let Grimmjow move his hands down his neck.



"I think I could get used to Strawberries."He grinned.

Ulquiorra got home with a large bag in hand and found Orihime crying while watching the movie the "Titanic". She went to pause the movie. "Please finish it."He urged smiling at her sniffling lips.



"O-ok...welcome home sweety." She kept it on.



He went to the phone book and went to the back. He called the Restaurant ​Crystal Springs and made sure the reservation was still in tact for two. They confirmed it was and he hung up shortly after the brief conversation. ​Ulquiorra pulled out of the large bag a long shimmering black dress. He had the sizes from Ishida given to him.​ He looked at the dress and put it on the bed. He was nervous, he understood the emotion better now more then ever. He felt his heart thud when her voice was heard "Ulquiorra...w-what is that?"​She stammered.



He turned around and bit his lower lip " I got it for you." He stumbled out.



"For me!?" She smiled."You got this for me?!" ​



​"Yes...its for tonight."



"Tonight?"



"I am taking you to a restaurant." He spoke as calm as he could.



"O-oh ok, where at?"



"Its a surprise. Actually we have reservations in 3 hours. Yoruichi should be here in 10 minutes." He assured.



​"Yoruichi?"



"To do your hair." He nodded.



"O-oh." She gasped " I can\'t get it out of you can I?" she asked sheepishly.



"No." He had his steady tone back.



"Ok then, surprise me." She smiled. " I will go shower."



The girls worked on her hair for what seemed like forever and then she came out in the dress. He looked up and he was breathless. He smiled and walked over to her, her hair was in thick waves that dangled into a giant curls of auburn. She blushed as he wrapped his hands around her waist. " You look stunning." He whispered in her ear. Ulquiorra moved his face to her vein and kissed her tender pulsing neck. She swallowed hard and went to the back. She looked to Yoruichi leaving.



"What do you think this is about?"



"I have a feeling, but...bask in it." She winked shutting the door behind her.



Orihime had not a clue of what was going on but all that left her mind when she saw him in a black suit. She blushed and watched as he latched the cuffs. Everything was new and fresh on the both of him. Orihime had never worn anything like what she was wearing and didn\'t even bother in asking him what the cost of the whole ordeal was. She was going to bask in it...

Ulquiorra linked arms with her as he entered the cab to go to the restaurant. He opened the door for her, everywhere she went. Ichigo had made sure he understood all the things he had to do before they split up. Pay for the bill, open the doors, kiss her hands, not look at any other girls...not that he did. But he made sure he understood all things that had to be done.



When they arrived at the table in the middle of the crowded restuarunt he ordered wine for the two of them to share. She had never had wine but when she tried it she really did love it. He put his hand in his pocket and made sure it was still there, it was it was.This was like a nervous habit that he had started up that night. Orihime and him both ordered there food and Ulquiorra waited for the waitress to leave. The waitstaff knew what was coming, he had called in advance to let the restaurant know that he was doing it and all the girls on the staff watched eagerly to see how he did it from the back.



Orihime was talking about things the whole time, which made it easier. When the order was finally ​put in Ulquiorra interrupted her.



"Orihime, may I ask you a very important question?" He asked opening his eyes to reveal his emerald eyes.



She stuttered ​"S-sure."



He rose to his feet and cleared his throat. The fourth knelt down to one knee and reached in his pocket, he smiled a charming smile and revealed the box in his hand. Orihime covered her mouth looking at​ the ring she gasped,tears began to come to the corners of her eyes. " Orihime, you are my radiating sun that brought me to life...will you please honour me with your hand in marriage?" ​It was silent, the restaurant had seen the whole proposal and whispered as she fought back tears.



"YES!" She cried out, he stood up and kissed her passionately and the crowd clapped as the two beamed in there table of love. She cried and he pulled back and took the napkin from the table.



"You are making your eyes look like mine."



She laughed and took his napkin and smudged it down her cheeks,dabbing up the black liner. "I love you...I love you so much."



He laughed and sat back in the chair. He smiled at her and reached over the table to take her hand in his, he slowly put the ring on her finger. " You like it?"



"I love it, its so us." She breathed.



"Its what I thought too." He smiled.

I was smiling like a little fanatic girl typing that last part out.Sorry it took me so long,I looked up all kinds of things like engagement rings and ideas for rings and ways of proposals...and the way he did it...the words were all me no quotes or anything...but...I felt even though the kneeling was out of style nowadays...I thought it would be charming and show how confident he was in her answer, thus the reason he did it in a crowded room.Review!
